The 59 Before 18 Mission

We're the Goldstein family, and we set ourselves an ambitious goal: visit all 59 National Parks in the United States before our kids turn 18. It started as a simple idea during a family road trip, and it became the adventure that has defined our family.

Along the way, we've hiked through ancient forests, camped under star-filled skies, spotted wildlife from bears to bison, and collected memories that no amount of money could buy. This site is our journal — a place to share trip reports, tips for other families, and the photos that remind us why we fell in love with America's wild places.
